| | The tackle,
tactics and bait for Carp fishing can be as simple or as complex as you want to
make them. Since I use the European method of Carp fishing, my gear
reflects that choice of styles. Part of the enjoyment of fishing for me,
regardless of species or style, is collecting, modifying, improving and
maintaining tackle, rigs and accessories.
While it is certainly not necessary to have this much gear, it gives me great
pleasure to own and use it. Tinkering with my tackle and studying catalogs
is a great winter activity.
As to tactics or techniques, I have tried to include as many as I am
aware. The same holds true for bait and rigs. This website is an
ongoing project, I hope that as I learn more and gather more information, I can
include it here.
